Information should have a clear job.
This notice explains how Tessera handles information submitted through the company waitlist and mobile-beta application.
Version 2026-08-31What we collect
The company waitlist collects your email address, consent, and confirmation or unsubscribe timestamps. The beta application collects your preferred name, email, country or region, a safe description of one active workstream, an optional description of your current approach, and the required consent and age or authorization attestations. For the mobile-beta route, Tessera also stores limited campaign labels and the hostname of an external referring site, when available, so an application can be attributed without storing the referring page or its query.
Tessera does not intentionally collect confidential work product, customer data, health, legal, financial, regulated, or third-party material through these forms. Please do not submit it.
Why we use it
Waitlist information is used to confirm your request and send the product and research updates you chose to receive. Beta application information is used to evaluate the application, contact you about the beta, operate the application process, and compare which outreach source and message produced confirmed or qualified applications.
A beta application does not subscribe you to marketing email or grant Tessera permission to publish your name, quotation, screenshots, workstream, or application.
Who helps process it
Tessera uses Vercel for website hosting and abuse protection, Neon for database storage, Resend for signup email, and Google Workspace for direct replies and internal application notices. This is the current form architecture; each provider also handles information under its own services and agreements.
Retention and your choices
Waitlist records are retained while confirmation is pending or you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, Tessera retains the address, suppression status, consent record, and related timestamps so that the preference can be honored. A verified deletion request removes the active waitlist and beta records tied to that address from Tessera's Neon database.
Waitlist and beta confirmation links expire after 24 hours. First-party attribution cookies expire after 30 days; attribution saved with a beta application follows that application's retention period. The attribution record does not contain the workstream description or other private form answers. Unconfirmed records become cleanup candidates 30 days after the link expires. Confirmed beta applications that are not selected or are withdrawn become deletion candidates 12 months after the final decision or withdrawal. Accepted applications remain while the person participates in the beta and become deletion candidates 12 months after participation ends.
Transactional emails already delivered, and limited copies in provider logs, mailboxes, or backups, may remain under provider retention rules or legal and operational requirements. Tessera will include available provider-side deletion in a verified request and explain any copy it cannot remove.
Every waitlist email includes an unsubscribe path. To ask what we hold, correct it, withdraw a beta application, or request deletion, email bruceli@tesserasol.ai.
